Thank you for visiting with me and welcome.
My name is Suzanne Jaffe Stillman and I am the inventor of FiberWater -- water containing soluble fiber that does not change the look, feel or taste of pure, safe water.
What is FiberWater? FiberWater is a generic description for water containing soluble fiber. It is virtually indistinguishable from pure fresh water. One 500 ml. (16.9 oz.) bottle meets 25 percent of your daily hydration requirement -- and 25 percent of your daily fiber requirement.
FiberWater, because it tastes just like water, is firmly positioned to compete globally in the bottled water market. Further, because of its documented health benefits in relation to cancer, obesity, weight loss, cardiovascular health, digestive health, bone health, and more, FiberWater is also firmly positioned to compete in the enhanced beverage market which accounts for 85 percent of beverage sales today.
Bottled water is a $50 billion industry globally and $10.8 billion domestically. In fact, some have equated this enormous rise in bottled water sales to the dot-com bubble of the late 1990s. However, this bubble will not break as consumers will not suddenly stop drinking bottled water.
The fiber market is exploding, too, in fortified foods as well as the supplements marketplace -- which requires consumers to take their product with water. In fact, just the clear soluble Fiber-in-Water market has sales well over $100 million so I feel very comfortable in presenting a national as well as global business opportunity.
I smile because all my life I’ve heard the line, “You cannot be everything to everyone.” I even bought into that philosophy myself until I invented FiberWater, and here is why: Everyone needs water to live and FiberWater is based on pure, safe water. And we now know that to live healthier, we need fiber. From infanthood through elderhood everyone needs water and everyone needs fiber. Even animals have fiber requirements!
Today, 94 percent of American consumers say healthy eating is important and 86 percent believe they can make changes to improve their diets. FiberWater is a proven healthy product for everyone.
So how did I come to invent FiberWater?
My journey to create FiberWater began 36 ago, with origins in my unconditional love for my son Jason, who was born with Glycogen Storage Disease (GSD 1A), a rare genetic liver disorder affecting his ability to properly utilize glucose. (Our complete story is on the history link.) Jason is alive today due to more of what he drinks than what he eats. Since Jason was born I have been working with doctors and dieticians designing healthy drinks for Jason. Jason helped us, too! We know how important it is to drink healthy.
I am also asked how it feels to be a successful inventor with at least 23 patents issued and many more pending issuances in 40 countries on 6 continents. Of course, I am proud that my decades of inventing have been acknowledged globally. But, the real work on FiberWater is ahead of me.
Once FiberWater is a staple in the marketplace and I have made a significant contribution to the health of my fellow consumers, and can direct a portion of the remuneration I receive from my inventiveness to projects that make a difference in the lives of children will I honestly feel successful.
I am a firm believer that if you cannot change the world as least you can try to make it a better place for having been here. Gandhi said it best when he said,
“Be the change you want to see in the world.”
Sincerely,
